These families are all getting close to traveling to China as well! You can follow their journey, pray for them, and support them financially if you feel led. These precious families have all stepped out in faith to bring home a child or children who desperately need them! And they desperately need all the love and prayers they can get.
Smith Family -- The Smith family is traveling in April or May to bring home their precious boy "Steve", who could NOT be cuter. Look at this face! http://reecesrainbow.org/58984/sponsorsmith-7 You can read all about their journey on their blog, "A Perfect Family" and see their current fundraisers all laid out on this specific post http://aperfectfamily.wordpress.com/2013/06/07/our-fundraising/
Grady Family --. The Grady family is REALLY stepping out in faith. They are adopting two sweet children, "Hudson" and "Evie". http://reecesrainbow.org/64835/sponsorgrady I have a soft spot for Evie since she is an absolute doll, and one of my kids is named Evie. Evie has a heart condition which has been called 'inoperable' by doctors in China. The Grady family is willing to take a chance anyway and bring her home to see what American doctors can do. And if you look at this incredibly sweet girl you will know why!
Monier Family -- The Moniers are traveling in early summer to bring home their daughter "Channah" who is getting close to aging out and struggles with some physical issues. She is absolutely the cutest.
http://reecesrainbow.org/61169/sponsormonier-2 They help to fund their adoption through their Esty shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/ChickenMommasChange?ref=si_shop You can read about their journey on their blog http://mondaymorningchristians.blogspot.com/
Wetherington Family -- I admit I have a soft spot for the Wetherington family. They are adopting two kids, like us, they have a big, lovely family, and we are all part of the same auction coming up next week, "Eight Less Orphans, Four More Families". They are adopting "Elliette" and "Henry" and will be traveling this summer. Elliette will age out very soon and Henry is trapped in a not so great orphanage. http://reecesrainbow.org/58982/sponsorwetherington-2 They are selling these shirts, which I love, to help bring their children home. You can find the shirts and follow their story here. http://journeyoftheheart5.blogspot.com/2014/02/chosen.html
West Family -- The West family are all so beautiful. I mean, you should see these people. Even the children they adopted somehow all turn out to be beautiful! I have to admit to having a special fondness for the West family as well. Their hearts are pure and wonderful, but they've retained their spark and great senses of humor, while still stepping forth and showing the world what it means to be people of God. They are adopting a boy with Thalassemia, just like we are. They are a bit farther ahead in the process than we are. They were able to commit while we were still scrambling to figure out where Wayne's file had gone. But we're pretty close in our journey. They will be expediting too and traveling before summer. http://growingwests.blogspot.com/ Their soon to be son "Nicholas" is CUUUTTTE. http://reecesrainbow.org/71798/sponsorwest-2
Casebier Family -- Last but not least, my very good friends, the Casebier family. I don't remember where I met Terri Casebier, somewhere in the wide adoption world, but I'm glad I did! They are adopting "Brandy" and "Brielle" two of the cutest little things in China. http://reecesrainbow.org/72894/sponsorcasebier Terri is the sweetest lady, who goes out of her way to help everyone she sees struggling with their adoptions. I get too easily distracted and lost in the details to always be on top of others' needs. Terri always has an eye open for anyone in need! You can follow their journey and see their current fundraisers here http://lovejer2911.blogspot.com/ This family is traveling in just a few WEEKS! They will also be part of "Eight Less Orphans, Four More Families."
So take a look around. Meet these amazing families. Follow their journeys and watch these orphans become beloved son and daughters, brothers and sisters, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends. I bet you won't be sorry you did!
